THE GOOSE BEACH BAR & KITCHEN

Sunday lived up to it's name, and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to review on a beautiful, spring day.
We arrived for an early lunch (by d'outh standards) at noon, but The Goose was near capacity with 2 lines constantly at the counter. The friendly and efficient staff managed the rapidly growing crowd well.
Perfectly positioned for people, dog and bird-watching, with an expansive view of the Busselton foreshore and jetty, we settled in. Drinks made it to our table within 10 minutes of ordering and we focused on the menu.
My partner chose the farmhouse mince beef burger, brioche, tomato relish, rockette,
cheddar, house pickles, aioli, fries - $26.50.
The burger was juicy, very tasty and a good size.
I went for one of my fave dishes - pan-fried gnocchi - and the sweet potato gnocchi, with leek and burnt hazelnut sage butter (as a main) was delicious.
The gnocchi was light and creamy with a tasty, buttery sauce - small $12.50 - large $22.00.
Thinking waist-lines, we chose to share the lemon meringue pie, which didn't disappoint.
Our mains were delivered within 30 minutes of ordering, as was dessert.
