Did you study art or are you self-taught?
I am self taught. I don't usually start painting with an idea, I like to just go with whatever is in my head at that particular time. I find painting without a set idea to be more relaxing which gives way to more of a creative flow.
Where or from whom does your inspiration come?
Living in such a peaceful and beautiful little corner of the world is honestly a massive inspiration.
What is your medium of choice?
I love working with oils but lean towards acrylics as they are faster to work with.
What's on the easel?
Currently a board which I'm looking forward to starting after I finish up a few commissions.
Describe your style in 3 words...
Colourful abstract expressionism.
If you could meet any artist living or passed, who would it be and why?
There is so many amazing artists that I love but I would love to meet Mel Brigg. His work is so beautiful, learning some of his techniques would be amazing!
Where can we see and purchase your work in the south west?
The gorgeous Merchant and Maker in Dunsborough currently stock my work.
How does living in the southwest influence you?
The chilled lifestyle down here and spending a lot of time outdoors is always so helpful in getting in the creative mood. Being surrounded by so many creative souls also helps!
